Safety Committee
The Joint Committee on Safety was founded to provide support and resources to groups concerned with issues relating to the physical, emotional, and spiritual safety of their members. More Information: Joint Committee on Safety
12th Step Volunteers
Bridging the Gap needs 12th Step volunteers. Presentation Teams and Volunteers make presentations to patients or inmates, or after the patient or inmate is released, usually 2 AA volunteers will accompany him/her to their first A.A. meeting on the outside. For information contact the B.T.G. via Central Office or come to the meeting the first Tuesday of every month, 7:30 p.m. at the Central Office
Hospitals & Institutions
H&I needs men and women to carry the message to those who are confined. Meeting Secretaries/Coordinators needed at many types of institutions. Once a month commitment. Check out handisc.org for details.
Intergroup Central Office
Central office is staffed by volunteers working 4-hour shifts once a week. Volunteers answer phones, sell literature, and perform simple office chores. Contact the Office Manager at (831) 475-5782 if interested.
PI / CPC
This group needs volunteers to inform students, probation officers, doctors and others about what A.A. is and what A.A. is not. Servicing literature racks, making sure that drug court has a current list of open meetings or attending health fairs at schools or colleges. Committee meetings every 2nd Saturday, 9 am. at the Coffee Shop, 1545 Pacific Avenue, Santa Cruz. For more info, contact Phil D. by calling Central Office at 831-475-5782.
